How to explode your Network Marketing Business on the Internet

Dedication for MLM Success

May 9, 2008 – 1:29 am | by Burke Jones - The Internet MLM Pro

For the past year I have really focused on growing my MLM business and using the internet to generate leads, make some front end cash and only sponsor those people that are real action takers. It has been a great ride so far and only gets better with each day!

However, I realized about a month ago that I had seriously been neglecting my health. My blood pressure was beginning to rise right along with my weight. I knew I needed a change.

So I started running. Now, there is no way that a mildly overweight, out of shape guy like myself can just go out and run for 3 miles - I would probably kill myself. So I found a great running program called the Couch to 5k program - you can find out more here. Right now I just began week #4 if you care to see what I am doing.

Basically I run/walk 3 times a week. Each week the time spent running increases and the time spent walking decreases. So at the end of 8 weeks you are running non-stop for 30 minutes.

It is a great program, but it does take dedication.

One of the things I have learned over the past year is that dedication is really what is required for success. If you are dedicated week in week out to taking consistent action you will have success in this industry. The biggest secret to my success has been the ability to focus on the things that really matter - like traffic generation and front end profits.

By taking consistent action in my running program I am transforming myself from a couch/computer potato to a runner - and it is easy! The skills I have learned by building my business through dedicated action transfer to other parts of my life like running.

Today - right now - take action. Then do the same thing tomorrow. Before long it will be a habit - and you will not be able to stop yourself. The best part is that success will quickly be your reward.

I have some big things coming your way in the next few weeks. It is getting very exciting around these parts!

See, I knew there was something wrong with your health when I haven’t heard from you in the longest time. But good to see you’re back online. Call me when you can and I need to start running, too.

I totally know where you are coming from as far as working and your health. I have been neglecting mine also as it’s so easy to sit in front of the computer and work for hours and put off the workout. Over time it can snowball and working out it on the backburner. We have to stop and check in once in a while and ensure we have a balance in our lives.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

So glad to see you are taking care of yourself. Health is so important. Being focused is important too. I see many people who are “gung ho” when they start their businesses, then fizzle out due to lack of dedication. I think the lack of dedication comes from not having a strong “why” and not being focused on that “why” and their goals. Sometimes slow and steady wins the race!

Running might be for you, but for me that is out of the question. At 74 and a Aorta to Femm-Femm bypass I’m lucky to walk again.
But I’ll tell you something that will interest you and your readers.
“You can trace every disease and every sickness and every ailment to a deficiency in minerals.”
Linus Pauling -two times Noble prize winner.

Since most of our soil is depleted of minerals from overuse and contamination we don’t get the daily requirements of minerals and especially in the essential ionic trace form our cellular system needs for optimal health.

But now there is an amazing breakthrough that has made the greatest whole food substance on Earth available for all of mankind, after centuries of being only for all the creatures of the Seas.
It is called Marine Phytoplankton and has all 72 elements of essential ionic trace minerals our cellular system requires to function at optimal health.
Marine Phytoplankton is now the main ingredient in “FrequenSea” and has 400 times more nutrients than any land grown plants.
It only takes a 1/2 oz shot daily to get your daily supply of Minerals and nutrients to supply your cells what they need to provide optimal health.

Burke, if you want to stay healthy, please listen to the audio and watch the video for more info on Marine PhytoPlankton and FrequenSea.

Glad to hear you’re taking care of yourself! I ran into the same issue a few years ago, but in my case I didn’t have the personal strength you had — my wife made me do it!
I took up rugby again at a club near me. Its a great workout, but also a great social experience. Men’s clubs are always recruiting new members, even if you’ve never played before. I highly suggest it as a way to get fit, stay healthy, make friends and have a good time!

Just discovered this blog today. Looks good. I’ll really run through it later tonight.

Good point on your health. I made a commitment about 3 months ago to do the same thing. I can’t run though (bad ankles) so I started riding my bike again. I do about 13 miles per weekday plus a longer ride on Saturday. Here’s my blog where I write about my biking:

Looking forward to learning how to take my MLM business to the next level.

    Take care.

Burke, so many times we get bogged down with life, business and other things and neglect our health. Honestly, I am slender in body type but I don’t eat right. I have to remember that prosperity encompasses not only wealth, but also health. Thanks for sharing!
