MySpace is Your Space for MLM Success

If you are looking for simple ways to start generating leads and growing your MLM business on the internet you really need to take a second look at using MySpace to grow your business.

When I first heard about MySpace I always thought it was only used by the younger, teenage and college crowd and there was really no serious exchange of information. After all it seems that every time you hear about some whacko on the news, they always show their MySpace page as a part of the story.

I was completely wrong. When I started digging into MySpace as a way to generate leads and form relationships with like minded individuals, I realized that there is a ton of excellent information available, and strong friendships to be formed inside of MySpace.

Here are a two tips to help you get started using MySpace to grow you MLM business:

1. Reach out and get involved. The fastest way to get involved with others on MySpace is to join a group. There are groups for just about any area of interest, and there are dozens just in the “making money” and “network marketing” area. Join some groups and get involved in the discussions.

2. Start sending messages to those that interest you. There are some really interesting profiles that have been created. Find one of a like minded individual and get the conversation rolling. Don’t just pitch your business from the start, think about creating a friendship first and then go from there.

Marketing on MySpace is a very powerful approach, but you have to be careful. The best way is to have a very nice profile page, keep it focused on your business, but don’t be afraid to show your personality as well. Remember, this is a social environment, and you need to have some fun as well as conducting business.

Creating Traffic For Your MLM Site

Ever heard the old saying “If you build it, they will come”?

Don’t be fooled - it is simply not that easy. If you like most people you have spent countless hours building your capture page and loading your auto-responder - then you “go live”.

Your hopes are high that the traffic to your site will start pouring in, dozens of new leads will be signing up, and your site will be an overnight success. The truth is generating traffic to your site will take time.

So how can you generate endless streams of targeted traffic to your site? The best way I know of is to create multiple streams of traffic, that is traffic from many sources - maybe just a few visitors a day from each source, but they all add up to a big bundle of targeted visitors.

I have come up with four basic tactics that everyone on my team learns to master:

1. Ebay
2. Article distribution
3. Ezine Advertising
4. PPC

The trick is to not spread yourself so thin, that you are a student of everything, but a master of nothing. Focus on one tactic until you really understand it and know how it works. Then when you have it down to where it can almost run on autopilot, move on to the next tactic.

This strategy will also help you with duplication. Once you truely understand how a traffic strategy works, you can then easily teach it to your own recruits, and they can then teach it to their team, and so on.

Using Squidoo to Generate MLM Leads

I am all about generating traffic to my MLM landing pages and you should be as well. Traffic is the life blood of your business, and you need to focus time and energy on a daily basis for maximum success.

I also believe in having multiple streams of traffic, each stream contributing small amounts of traffic that add up to a river of new prospects coming into my profit funnel on a daily basis.

One of the ways I drive traffic to my landing page is by using Squidoo. Squidoo allows you to get an account and then build one page sites that are focused on a specific topic. These pages are called “lenses”, and can be a good source of traffic for you site.

You can see how it is tightly focused on my core mission - teaching people how to create leads for their MLM business on the internet.

You can do some interesting things with a lens. You can add RSS feeds, add images, add a newsletter optin form and post new articles.

The power of your lens really comes into play once it gets indexed by Google. You see Squidoo has a good page rank in Googles eyes. Once your lens gets indexed it will begin to rank high in the search engines for your keywords - so choose them wisely.

You will also need to update your lens at least once a week to keep it active. Squidoo has a ranking system, and the freshness is one of easiest ways to keep it ranked highly.

Generate MLM Leads on Ebay

Once you have your website setup and your funnel created for capturing leads and converting them into new associates, you need a way to drive traffic to your landing page.

One of my favorite ways of generating leads for my business is to use Ebay. The massive amount of traffic that Ebay receives can really lead to huge leverage, and huge traffic for your business.

The easiest way to get started is to assemble a simple report. This report needs to be specific and fill a need that your prospects have. For instance, if you sell a diet supplement for your MLM business, you could produce a report that describes your product and how it can help your prospect drop the pounds. It should be educational in nature, and not just push your product relentlessly.

Once you have it written simply convert it to a PDF document so it can be automatically delivered to the purchaser. Ebay allows you to sell digital products, and has a way to provide a link to the buyer once they have made payment.

Once it is done, you can simply start placing auctions. Think about the keywords that people would use to find your product and then include them in your title.

Once the auction is complete, forward the customer to a squeeze page to collect thier name and email, and then deliver the ebook. You now have a lead for your product - that you can market to over and over again!

Of course, you can use this same technique for people that are looking for a home business - and watch your downline grow!

Generate MLM Leads With Article Distribution

Traffic, traffic, and more traffic! That is what you need if you want to grow you MLM business on the internet. You need fresh eyeballs reading your capture page everyday. There is really no magic bullet that will drive traffic to your pages.

I believe in using multiple strategies, each driving a bit of traffic, to all add up to an avalanche of visitors to my web site. The more visitors you have, the subscribers you will get, and the more new associates will join your business.

I love to use article distribution to drive a continuous drip of traffic to my site. Even better is the residual leverage these articles will drive for years to come. Hey, as an MLM’er, you gotta love residual, right?

Why do articles drive residual traffic? You see when you submit an article to a directly like Ezinearticles.com you are allowed to place a resource box at the end of your article - this can also be called a bio box. In this text you can place links back to your site or any page you would like - I typically stick with my lead capture page.

These article directories allow webmasters and ezine publishers to pick these articles up and republish these on their sites or in their newsletters. The catch is that they have to include your bio box and the links back to your site.

Over time you article could potentially be picked up by dozens of sites, all driving traffic back to yours - forever. Did you read that? FOREVER!

The articles you distribute today, could easily be sending you traffic for many years to come. So get busy today, write some articles and get them distributed!

Three Ideas for Generating a Free MLM Report

If you have you own lead capture page for generating MLM leads, you are probably trying to find a way to increase the conversion rate so even more visitors will opt-in to your auto responder.

One of the best ways to increase the conversion rate of your MLM capture page is to offer some type of report. The report needs to offer the visitors quality information that piques their interest enough to hand over their email address to you.

Lets look at three ways of creating your own valuable report:

1. Call on Your Upline:
This may seem obvious, but use your upline. This is exactly what I did when I first got started generating my own leads on the internet. I simply called someone in my upline and interviewed them on what they had done to be successful. I recorded the phone call, and made a MP3 file that my subscribers could listen to online, or download to their portable player. I also gave a copy to the person I interviewed to use as they wanted.

2. Interview A Successful Marketer:
This is an extremely powerful method, but you might have to step out of your comfort zone to make it happen. There are many successful internet marketers that might be willing to do a telephone call with you and allow you to record the interview. Be sure to generate a good list of questions, and provide it to them before hand. If they have a product that you can promote as an affiliate - this is also good advertising for them. It really can be a win-win for both of you. Be sure and give them a complimentary copy of the audio as well. I have done this for a couple of people, so feel free to contact me as well.

3. Compile Free Articles to Create a Report:
There are many article directories that allow you to use articles as long as the resource box at the end of the articles (including the links) remain active. Let’s say you wanted to create a report on generating leads online. You could simply head over to Ezine Articles and do a search for “generating leads online” and you will be presented with dozens of articles. Grab 10 or 12 of the best articles and compile them into your report. Convert the document to a PDF - making sure the links remain active - and you now have your “free report” to give away as an incentive. Be sure and put some links to your site in their as well!

So there you have it - three easy ways to generate your own free report for your MLM capture page. The last thing you might want to add is a nice graphic “cover” for your report. You can easily make these yourself or outsource them for a reasonable price.

Once you add this effectively tool to your landing page, I am confident you will see your opt-in rate skyrocket!

Three Critical Elements of a MLM Capture Page

If you are building your MLM business the smart way - by using the internet - you must have a high quality, high converting capture page. The capture page is the main page that all of your marketing will be driving traffic to. The capture page is also known as a “squeeze page” in the internet marketing community.

The reason it is known as a “squeeze page” is because you want to “squeeze” the visitors information out of them before they can get what they really want - your valuable content.

Three Critical Elements Your MLM Squeeze Page Must Have

1. A Compelling Headline
The headline of you squeeze page must start the story. It must be compelling and interesting enough to draw your visitor into the page and read the rest of your story.

2. Bullet Points
You must have 5 to 10 well written bullet points. All of the points should focus on “them”, which can be easily done simply by using the words “you” and “your”. These bullet points must show the visitor exactly what you can help them with or provide them by giving their information to you.

3. A FREE Gift
Your squeeze page must offer something of value in return for the visitor giving you their contact information. You can do this very simply by creating a report of useful information. You could interview someone successful in your upline, and offer the audio or transcription. Use your imagination - the possibilities are limitless.

These should give you some ideas that you can take and run with. Once you have your squeeze page setup, keep testing different versions to see how the changes affect the conversion rate. Remember, the more traffic you send to your capture page, the more sign-ups you will get, and the more new associates you will enroll.

Three Stratagies for Explosive Lead Generation On A Budget

If you are just getting started building your network marketing business on the internet, you are probably strapped for cash. Let’s face it, between your monthly autoship expenses, and the prospecting tools your upline told you were the best thing since sliced bread - you have probably been spending more than you are making in your business.

So lets take a look at three powerful strategies that you can start using today to generate hot prospects for your business on a limited budget.

1. Get started with a funded proposal system. A funded proposal system is one where you stand to generate income off of every lead that enters your system, even if they don’t join your primary network marketing business. 2. Start writing articles today. By writing just one simple article that is at least 250 words each day you will start to build your business. All you have to do is submit it to EzineArticles.com and it will be distributed far and wide. Be sure and have a resource box that sells to drive traffic back your landing page, and start generating leads.

3. Blog everday. Period. This will not bring traffic immediately, but over time can become a huge source of traffic and leads for your business. From my experience it will really start to kick in once you have around 100 posts or so in your blog. I try to keep my blog posts generic and teach people something of value. Or you can set up a blog just about your company. Post company news, and events which will help you get ranked high for your opportunity.

Just using these three simple techniques, will cost you just dollars a month, but allow you generate a substantial income both from your main MLM company, and outside it using the funded proposal system.

The first week I started employing these simple strategies I generated 151 leads, and 4 people called or emailed me wanting to get started in my business. Is that proof enough for ya?

Automated MLM Programs

A friend that I have been mentoring for a couple of months in my business called me up the other day and asked this question:

Hey Burke - I am looking at this MLM company that has this replicated website that enrolls people automatically in my downline. What do you think?

Honestly my friend was just the last of a long string of people that have called or emailed me that same question. And my answer is always the same….

Run, don’t walk, run as fast as you can from this type of opportunity!

There is a reason that we call this business “Network Marketing”. It is all about building a network of distributors that both consume and sell the products that we market. It is about building lasting relationships and working together to build a successful business for both you and your team.

These “replicated self building” sites are nothing but scams designed to take your money. For instance how exactly are these downlines built? Who generates the traffic? Who does the training? It still comes down to you working on your business.

The other problem with these replicated sites, is that they will never stand a chance of generating any real traffic from the search engines. You see they all have the exact same content - the search engines look at this as duplicate content and it will be filtered out as quick as it is indexed.

Before you scamper off to join one of these “self building” opportunities, I would really like you to think about building your business the right way. You time would be much better spent on these two things:

Build your own Lead Capture page and generate your own MLM leads.

Get your own Blog to start branding yourself - “Brand You!”

If you spend your time and money on just these two simple pieces of the puzzle - you will be rewarded for many years to come! Prospects will be calling you up with credit card in hand to join you in your business. How does that sound?

Internet MLM Business Basics

In my last post, I recommended a tool ( http://www.internetmlmpro.com/bc/ ) that I use to explain the Network Marketing business to my prospects. In case you missed it you can see it here:

This subject generated a ton of responses from you, so I thought I better spend a bit more time explaining my system.

So today I wanted to cover the three legs of a basic Internet MLM lead generation system.

These 3 legs are:
- A Lead Capture Page
- The Auto Responder
- A Blog for Branding

These are the only three things that you need to set- up for a great a system that converts prospects into new associates.

The Lead Capture Page
This is simply a web page that has single focus - to get people to subscribe to your list.

The Auto Responder
The auto responder is simply a service that allows you to very easily email your list of subscribers. You can load a series of emails into this system and they will be delivered automatically at a preset interval. I recommend using this service if you are looking for a quality auto responder. Don’t try to host this yourself.

A Blog for Branding
As we have discussed previously, and important aspect of marketing online is branding yourself and your system. A blog is a very simple way of generating content in the form of articles that allow you to brand yourself and your system over time. It is probably the easiest way to build your own web site and will also generate visitors from the search engines over time.

I don’t have time in this email to fully explain how to setup and use these three components, I will however be covering these parts in detail in the future.

So back to how I integrate the presentation available at http://www.internetmlmpro.com/bc/ - since several people had questions about how I use it.

For my warm market I have a business card that simply has my unique address printed on it. If I meet someone that wants to know more about the business, I give them a card and they go check out the site.

I also use if for prospecting on the internet. Immediately after someone subscribes to my list on my CAPTURE PAGE, they are sent an email with the link to this presentation in it. So the first thing they are exposed to is a very high quality presentation on why network marketing makes so much sense.

From that point on, they are typically already sold on the business model, and it then a simple manner of explaining our system and our company to them. This is a system that is simple to set up and generates very responsive leads!

So once again - I highly recommend finding good tools and then leverage the tools to do the explaining for you.
