I was having a conversation with an associate the other night, and it got me to thinking about growing a MLM business online, and what separates those that are successful from those that are not.
If you want to grow your network marketing business online, you need to take action. I see way to many people who purchase course after course, and never take action. They have all the “secrets”, and “insiders information” - that they have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing, but they fail to take that critical first step - doing something.
If this describes you, let me give you a good kick in the pants with a three day plan to move your business forward.
Day One: If you don’t know where to start, or have a system to work with, my ebook “Internet MLM Pro Secrets” would be a great place to start - and the price is right at $7.00. It will give you a great overview of the system you need to put in place for success.
Day Two: Get web hosting and set up your lead capture page. Look at some examples of capture pages that you like, and simply make your own - or hire someone to do it for you.
Day Three: Start writing articles and distributing them to article directories. I guarantee you that by writing just 10 articles a month you will begin to build a list of subscribers. Okay, so you probably won’t write 10 articles in one day, but set a goal to write one article a day. It takes me about 20 to 30 minutes to write a good article. Carve out some time, over lunch, get up 30 minutes early, stay up 30 minutes late, just find some time every day to write one article. I find the more I write the more new ideas I come up with to write about!
So get started right now! Take action! Don’t expect everything to be perfect, in fact the only way to learn is to get started, and build from the successes and learn from the failures.

I am sure you have seen the commercials on television for the office supply store, where they are using the “Easy Button” to solve their problems. I know I rarely watch TV, but even I have seen this commercial.
Looking for the “Easy Button” for your MLM business?
If building a huge downline and creating unlimited residual income were as easy as pressing a button and waiting for results we would all be wealthy! Unfortunately, it is not as easy as pushing a big red button when you are building your MLM business.
It takes work, thats right, the cold hard truth is that to build something truly great will take work on your part. However, there are somethings that you can do to make it seem like you simply pressed the “Easy Button” as your MLM business grows.

Have you started generating your own MLM leads for your network marketing business yet?
I firmly believe that we have entered into a new era in network marketing. The days of hotel meetings, calling parties, and purchasing expensive leads are behind us.
Why?
Because they are not easy to duplicate, and they do not produce a “real” business model.
This statement may shock some of you, so I better do a bit of explaining before you think I just took a drink from the “kook” fountain.
As you know network marketing is all about leverage. By creating a downline you are able to leverage the collective work of your entire team. If you have hundreds of people on your team, and each person just sponsors two or three people (the industry average) than you can experience massive growth.
The biggest problem is surviving long enough in the business to reach this point. Hotel meetings, calling parties, etc, are designed to meet the lowest common denominator. In other words they work well to get those initial 2 or 3 new associates, but then things come to a screeching halt. Associates run out of warm and hot market leads. Then where do they turn?
Most of them will turn to purchasing expensive leads - this is what I did - and the downhill spiral begins.
However, if you are generating your own leads - you are building a real business - that you are in complete control of.
Let me explain further how this business can really work. You set-up a lead capture page on the internet. Drive some traffic to it, and start building a subscriber email list. Over time you drip, drip, drip the information about your company to these prospects. Some will join today, some next week, some a year from now - each person has their own time. By tapping into the power of the internet you can build a relationship over time that can grow forever.
By building your own list, you are also building a real business model. You see once you have a list of subscribers you can actually print money at will. For example, say you find a really good service or course on the internet that relates to MLM or Network marketing. Using the affiliate marketing model, you can recommend this product to your list, and get paid a handsome commission if they purchase it.
This model allows you to make money outside of your primary opportunity. It allows you to survive financially long enough to actually “make it” in network marketing. It allows you go get to the point of enjoying the leverage of a large downline!
Don’t you think this business model makes more sense than the tired MLM tactics of the past?

I remember the first day I joined up with my company. You see with
my business kit they also provided my “very own” web site. I was
ecstatic! I could see the customers coming from Google, Yahoo and
MSN to my site and purchasing loads of products. I could see
people interested in a business simply finding me through a Google
search and singing up under me.
I had this image that this business - with my company provided web
site - would build itself! What I soon learned was exactly the
opposite…….nobody ever visited - except me!
You see there are many problems with company provided web sites,
lets take a look at a couple of them, and then look at a solution.
Product Sales & Search Engines
The biggest problem with a company provided replicated web site is
that it is exactly the same as every other associate in your
company. Because it is exactly the same, it appears as duplicate
content to the search engines. Search engines hate duplicate
content, so they only rank a few of the sites highly, and the rest
are buried on page 98 of the results never to be found!
Business Opportunity Seekers
The competition is simply to great to expect your company provided
site to rank well on the major search engines when people are
searching for a business to join. On top of this, network
marketing really does boil down to building relationships. It is
the relationship and the system you provide that will get people
interested in joining your business.
Now that we have identified the two biggest problems, what can you
do about them.
First, get your own domain name, and start building your own site.
There are many easy and low cost ways to make this happen, and I
will cover them in future emails.
Your own site will allow you to build a relationship with your
visitors, both for your product and/or your opportunity.
Once you have this relationship, then you can send the prospect to
your company provided site to make a purchase or sign up. That is
the only way that a replicated web site will work for you and your
team.
You have to have a system in place that will do the following 24
hours a day, 7 days a week - fully automated. You system must
provide product information, business information, and reveal a
system that a potential prospect can see themselves plugging into.
A company provided site will never do this. Period!
My team is using the internet and methods like this to simply
explode our business, our company site is only there for the few
times we need, not as our primary marketing vehicle. –>

Do these stories sound familiar to your MLM business?
You make up your “names list” - you have a list of 100 names of people you know that you want to present your new business opportunity to. Your sponsor says, lets start calling them. You tell your sponsor “I will get right to it!”. So the next day you call the first person on your list - could be your neighbor, your doctor, your sister - and start pitching them on this great business opportunity you just joined.
You see before you made the first phone call you thought that everyone you talked to would have the same enthusiasm for this business that you do - you can see the power in it.
So the phone is ringing, they answer, you make the pitch - straight off the script your upline gave you. The first person tells you “no”. The second person makes fun of you for wasting your money. And the third person never answers the phone.
You just never get around to calling the rest of the names on your list. Join the club of 95% of all network marketers. You see 95% of us never have the guts to keep making the calls until all 100 people on our list are contacted.
Why not?
Emotions! You see as humans we are emotional creatures, we thrive on getting good vibes from others. We like to be looked at as a leader, someone with good ideas. All of us have a limit on the number of “no’s” we will hear before we simply quit.
For some of us the threshold might be one, for others it might be 300. The emotional impact at some point will stop us from reaching our dreams.
So how do I propose that you take the emotion out of your MLM business? Use the internet to generate unlimited leads - that are yours exclusively - and only talk to those people that contact you!
This one secret is what turned my business around the first week I started generating leads of my own on the internet. Within the first 10 days I had generated 65 leads, and 4 people had called or emailed me saying they were ready to get started!

Hold on to your seat , your in for the ride of your life - we are going to reinvent how you grow your mlm or network marketing business on the internet!
You see when I first started out in network marketing I did everything my upline told me. Make a list of 200 and call them all, then follow-up. I purchased hundreds of leads for big bucks and spent hours on the phone chasing these people everyday. Four months later I had enrolled just a few associates into my business, and they were doing exactly what I was doing, and things were just not taking off.
I added up the time I was spending and I was working for pennies per hour - something had to change. So I called up my upline, and asked “What should I do?” - they said “Keep it up, its all in the numbers”.
The biggest problem was that each month I went further in debt, buying leads, making my minimum monthly purchase of products, etc.
One day I heard someone say, “If what you are doing is not working, stop doing it!” - the light went on in my head.
You see I called hundreds of “business opportunity leads” and one thing that I heard them ask for over and over again was an internet based business. At this time, I only saw my network marketing business as an “offline” opportunity - which was what my upline taught me!
I am no stranger to internet based businesses - heck I have several sites of my own that sell information products that generate a four figure monthly income - enough to let my wife stay home with our wonderful children. The biggest problem with this business, is that there was no residual income, I do not have a team building this business - its all on me.
Which is why I got started in network marketing - to build a residual income stream! What it turned out to be was that I was working for slave wages and going nowhere fast.
So I stopped everything I was doing and created a complete system for myself and my team that allows us to build our network marketing business completely online. Our prospects are able to view all the information 24/7 in a completely automated fashion - they actually call us!
I will be sharing the key components of building your network marketing business on the internet - learn these and you will be able to generate leads of your own, and make money whether the decide to join our primary opportunity or not!
Just imagine this:
- generating 5 to 10 new leads a day
- having a system in place to follow up with these leads that runs on total automation
